Psystar announced their intention to sell Leopard-wait,

If the native hackability of the version of OS X on the Apple TV is not enough for you, there's now a convenient boot loader that allows you to install Linux. This also opens up the possibility of running Linux based video software, particularly MPlayer, Myth TV, and XMBC. Further, since there are Linux drivers for the NVIDIA hardware decoders in the Apple TV there's also the possibility of higher resolution 1080th output as opposed to the 720p it's normally limited to.
Unfortunately, this is project is still in the early stages and none of this is working perfectly yet. Nonetheless, it'sa interesting development on the Apple TV hacking front.

I do not know if you know, but a week ago, from Sunday to Thursday, I was on vacation (or, better, in school trip) to Capraia. Well I do not think that you have noticed some differences due to my absence, because I had this set so that more articles were published while I was away.
Well you think that even this week, starting at 10 tonight, Philapple disappear until Sunday, because if they go to Liverpool and Manchester for four days. All articles will be published so that within this time will have been written before. This is to say that if Apple were to do something extraordinary and I do not you speak, but instead had to publish a review of something totally alien to that, will simply because it's all automatic.

Afloat from Infinite Labs was one of my favorite SIMBL plugins, until it was broken by Leopard. It adds some clever features to windows in Cocoa applications, including a mode where the window remains always visible, "floating" above all other windows, an overlay mode where the window floats but fall clicks through to the windows below, and adjustable transparency (including a very nifty mode in which a window will be translucent until you mouse over it and then it pops into an opaque mode).
Thankfully, Afloat 2.0 now works with Leopard. In fact, it works so well with that Leopard OS X 10.5 is now required to run Afloat. The free download includes the Infinite Labs PlugSuit SIMBL plugin manager, but it is not necessary to run Afloat if you already have SIMBL installed.

Mac 101 Apply actions to multiple windows

Here'sa tip for those who take a tidy desk to the extreme. When you've got multiple Finder windows open, you can apply an action to all of them at once.
Press Command-Option-W to immediately close all windows. Likewise, if you hold down the Option key while pressing the red, yellow and green buttons in the upper left hand corner of a Finder window, you apply the corresponding action to all open windows
- Option + yellow minimizes all windows to the Dock
- Option + green maximizes all windows
- Option + red closes all windows
Keep your desktop neat and tidy by dismissing all open Finder windows in a snap.

Apple TV Source notes that the latest 2.0.2 update makes Internet radio work a little better with the Apple TV. Basically you can play Internet radio streams on the Apple TV if you have it synced to an iTunes playlist with a computer containing the streams. Before the update the source computer had to be on for this to work. Now, however, the Apple TV will retain the playlist even without the iTunes computer until it is restarted (it will retain the playlists even if put to sleep). You may remember Steve Ballmer (CEO of some other company) criticizing the iPod and iPhone on several occasions. Something that he definitely can not criticize is the Mac, mostly because he was seen using one for a presentation. Microsoft today released a new version of its instant messaging program, MSN Messenger, for Mac. The version currently available is from a few hours the 7.0. Maybe you would expect to find inside who knows what improvements, or if only some small novelty than the preceding; something that, in other words, justifies the change of version 6 to 7.0. In this case know that they be disappointed.
Microsoft has introduced almost nothing and added none of those functions which by now far too long lacking in this software, and that its consideration on Windows has for several years. What's are just a small and virtually imperceptible restyling chart, which affects particularly the icon (which is now surrounded by un'orrendo white border) and the introduction of 'corporate account, useful only in rare cases. From this moment onwards therefore Messenger for Mac is divided into two: one for the home, which allows you to do exactly what we did before plus the chance to chat through the Jabber protocol, a second for the work. About this deserves to be underlined the opportunity to talk via audio and video (a very interesting and, strangely, so far absent on the Mac) to their business contacts. One thing, however, that, for reasons obscure choices and Microsoft is not yet possible to do by all those who wanted to talk to friends and family (as regards the business functions of the programme).
Just for the record, has risen more than a year since Microsoft released the previous update Msn Messenger. For this reason say that the updates should be rather slow, given the lack of consistency of novelty that characterizes them.
